If any of you feel comfortable sharing, I would love to hear about your experience sharing that you are a rape survivor with your family. I’ve been struggling with this a lot recently, and I feel that reading others’ stories would help me to feel less isolated in my experience. This was inspired by an ask I got just earlier today.
Whether your experience was positive or negative, I’d love to hear it. I can keep them private or publish them. I just feel that sharing this kind of trauma with loved ones is a very hard task to navigate, and many of us could benefit by sharing that pain or that relief with one another.
